Hi great question, so I think any relevant retail experience is always good but above that it’s about your overall ability to learn and develop with the support available within the business. As it’s a customer facing role, good communication is great and working as a wider team through effective collaboration is good.

Hi! thank you for your response. To better prepare for the recruitment process, could you provide examples of how candidates can effectively demonstrate their ability to learn and adapt, particularly in customer-facing roles? Understanding how to showcase these qualities in my application and interviews would be really helpful. Additionally, how does the company assess these qualities during the recruitment process?

So with learning it’s about being able to demonstrate through examples of where you have maybe been in a situation where you’ve not know how to complete a task but how you may have taken the initiative to learn it seek advice from someone else to enable you to complete the task. You can do this in examples on your CV work experience or certainly in an interview situation. In terms of within the business, these are generally assessed via observation from your line manager and through ways of working. Hope that helps
