I have completed my final year at university but I don't graduate until 24/07. Will this affect my chances of securing this opportunity over the summer or will it be noted that I am available to work full time throughout the dates of the FTC? Thanks
Hi Zac, the roles are open until the 25th of April, so all applications are still being considered :)
I'm sorry, when I sent this question in online there I filled in a details section to add context to the question but I think it's been omitted in this chat. I have completed my final year of university, but I don't graduate until 24/07. I wanted to make it clear that I am available full time during the dates of the FTC from May to August and was asking if still being a student would affect my chance to secure this opportunity. Thanks
as long as you are available from mid May until end August we would definitely consider you
Perfect, thank you
There will likely be a one week induction in Mid May where we will give you your equipment / uniform and explain more on the role. The last week of May, you would be live on your territory
I will definitely be available for that, thanks for your help. Is it often that FTC staff are offered permanent contracts from September or is this position more designed to satisfy greater demand through the summer?
This is a seasonal role, just for the summer period. We do have permanent merchandisers in those areas too and obviously roles come up across CCEP all the time, so if you wanted to stay with us, you would be able to gain experience and look at more permanent roles at CCEP
Thank you, I have alerts turned on for CCEP careers so I won't miss any future opportunities. What level of involvement do you have with other merchandisers in your area? I assume I will be visiting retailers by myself, but are there plenty of opportunities to get to know (and learn from) existing staff in the area?
Yes, you will be on your own visiting stores, however you would spend time with our permanent merchandisers and their managers in your training. You would also be included in their team meetings (virtual each week and then face to face periodically). Your manager would also spend time supporting you as you get up to speed
That's great to hear, hopefully I will be able to build lasting connections during my contract that could help when there is an opportunity to secure a permanent role in South Devon in the future.
That sounds great Zac. It is nice to hear that you are interested in a career at CCEP
