For the Engineering Apprenticeship, your hours would depend but you are contracted to work 8 hours a day. Personally I work 06:00-14:00 but others may work 07:00-15:00 or other hours. It depends on what works best. Your site may prefer that you work the early shift as this is when the majority of the work occurs on site.

Your first year is based 100% at an external training provider so you wont be attending site within your first year.

Yes its a full working week at the training provider. This means you can go home at weekends if you wish.
