Ongoing training is an essential part of every job role and there are lots of opportunities to develop within CCEP. Over the years I've been with CCEP I've completed courses through the Open university and external providers to gain qualifications that have helped me progress within the company. All managers were recently put through a training programme called AFL - Accelerate Frontline Leadership which was excellent. This was one of the best initiatives I've seen and a major commitment to invest time in making us all better people managers. There are also online learning platforms ('Academy' / 'Juice') which allow you pick your own modules and drive your own development. In my experience we have always been encouraged to take time for our own development and support the development of our teams as well.
Our Learning & Development (L&D) teams offer a multitude of support - through internal applications that offer training modules and bitesize learning, helping to find suitable external courses, building a career path plan, coaching and much more! There is also a company-wide appetite for learning and everyone is available to support if you ask for it to support growth. Importantly, line managers are a key point of contact to discuss your IDP (individual development plans with) to offer feedback and support through their network to meet your development needs.
My personal motto, akin to Harry Potter, is "help will always be given...to those who ask for it"! :)
Every day in the Operational Excellence team is a day for development due to the diverse and varied nature of the work we carry out. From a personal perspective what I have enjoyed most from this role is that it has given me the knowledge of our manufacturing and distribution sites that I had no previous knowledge of.
During 2022 I also identified Project Management and growing my Environmental Management knowledge as two of my key development needs within my role therefore I undertook and managed to complete Prince 2 Project management and Nebosh Environmental Management
Hi, thank you for your question.
Being with the company for almost 24 years, I can say first hand that the training & development programme is great, but you have to own it.
We have:
So there is no shortage of training if you own it.
Hope this answers your question.

Working in the Customer Service Team, there are always opportunities to develop your knowledge within the company and it is always encouraged to do so. If you have a genuine interest in something specific, you can mention it to your line manager and they will offer support to help you gain knowledge in that area, whether it's helping you set aside time to learn or pointing you in the right direction on who would be the best person/department to learn from. We have regular 1-2-1 sessions and also a development 1-2-1 to go over your goals and what you want to learn. There are so many roles outside of Customer Service to learn about, there's always something that will spark your interest.
If you want to do something, do it! There's no harm in saying you want to learn, as I said earlier, it is always encouraged at CCEP :)
